1. What types of equipment does 3P Safety inspect?

We provide certified inspections for cranes, rigging gear, forklifts, telehandlers, aerial lifts (MEWPs), overhead cranes, hoists, maritime cranes, pedestal cranes, and industrial equipment. All inspections follow OSHA, ANSI/ASME, MSHA, and EM-385-1-1 standards.

2. Are your inspectors certified?

Yes. All 3P Safety inspectors are fully certified and trained to meet OSHA, ANSI/ASME B30, MSHA, and EM-385 requirements. We provide compliant inspection documentation for all equipment types.

3. Do you offer nationwide inspection services?

Yes. 3P Safety provides rapid nationwide scheduling, including weekends and after-hours, with mobile inspection teams ready to travel to your jobsite, facility, or port.

4. What documentation do we receive after the inspection?

You receive:

  • A full inspection report

  • Deficiency list

  • Required corrective actions

  • Tagged pass/fail status

  • Load test results (if applicable)

  • Digital copies for your safety records
    All delivered electronically the same day or next day.

5. Do you perform EM-385-1-1 inspections and load tests?

Yes. We perform EM-385 compliant inspections, load tests, and documentation required for U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, NAVFAC, and federal job sites.

6. How often are OSHA/ANSI inspections required?

Frequency varies by equipment type:

  • Cranes & Hoists: Annual + monthly

  • Forklifts & Telehandlers: Daily inspections + annual evaluation

  • MEWPs (Aerial Lifts): Frequent & annual

  • Rigging Gear: Periodic (usually annual)

  • Maritime Cranes: Annual + 4-year tests

7. Can you inspect equipment that is currently out of service or damaged?

Yes. We can evaluate out-of-service equipment to determine repair requirements, safety concerns, or whether it can be returned to service. We also offer post-repair re-inspections.

8. Do you offer corrective actions or repairs?

We do not perform repairs, but we identify deficiencies and provide the documentation needed for your maintenance team or vendor to complete the repairs. We can return for re-inspection after corrections are made.

9. How quickly can we schedule an inspection?

Most inspections can be scheduled within 24–72 hours, depending on location and equipment volume. We also offer same-day emergency inspections if needed.

10. Do you offer bulk or multi-site inspection pricing?

Yes. Companies with multiple cranes, multiple facilities, or large fleets can receive discounted pricing and coordinated scheduling to reduce downtime.

11. Do you provide maritime and port equipment inspections?

Yes. We inspect:

  • Pedestal cranes

  • Shipboard cranes

  • Reach stackers & RTGs

  • Maritime rigging

  • OSHA 1917/1918 port equipment
    All with certified maritime inspectors.

12. Are your inspections OSHA- and ANSI-compliant?

Absolutely. Every inspection follows the required federal and industry standards:

  • OSHA 1910 / 1926

  • ANSI/ASME B30 series

  • MSHA Part 56/57

  • EM-385-1-1

  • OSHA Maritime 1917/1918

13. Can you provide inspections on weekends or after hours?

Yes. 3P Safety offers flexible scheduling, including weekends, nights, and shutdown periods to minimize production downtime.

14. Do you offer digital records for our internal safety system?

Yes. All inspection files are delivered as PDFs, compatible with common safety platforms and recordkeeping systems.
